PURPOSES OF THE SALT CREEK GREENWAY ASSOCIATION
Identify, inventory and promote the natural, historic, cultural and recreational resources of the Salt Creek Greenway and spheres of influence Promote the Greenway as a tourism destination and economic resource Support the expansion and connection of regional trail systems and the development of canoeable water trails Support floodplain protection and riparian ecosystem restoration Collaborate with groups, agencies and municipalities to protect greenway features and attractions Promote the scenic beauty and historic values of the Greenway for public appreciation and awareness |
